SYMPHONY CENTER OF CHICAGO
Building Identity & Wayfinding System// Designer, carbone Smolan Agency
Client: Skidmore Owings & Merrill
Referencing the mid western prairie style of Frank Lloyd Wright and the musical notation of a C clef, this mark was created when Chicago’s Orchestra Hall underwent a dramatic renovation and modernization. The symphony wanted a mark to reflect the spirit of their new home and is widely used on building signage, collateral material and merchandise.
